Stress started his Backyard Wrestling carreer in EHW (Extremely Hardcore Wrestling) and soon shot to the upper card in the company. Many people, including himself, thought Stress should have been World champion and he was even promised the title once by the EHW promoter but Stress soon got "screwed" when the title was instead handed to someone else. Upset over the politics of the company, Stress soon after left EHW and stayed inactive from Backyard wrestling for a while. He never stoped training though, which was aparent in his RCW debut when he defeated 3 other wrestlers to become the first ever RCW Champion!
